“The secret of change is to FOCUS all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but on building the NEW.“

On May 18th, the Irish government slowly began to allow companies to reopen. As the beauty industry is expected to return to work only on July 20, there is widespread fear about the flourishing of so-called “Black market” services. For this reason, Irish beauty associations (ISA & IHF) began negotiations with the government for prior permission to open beauty salons. Will this happen ? For sure we will know soon 😉 But before it happens, I decided to find out what the situation was like in other countries. Maybe we can get some ideas.
Every week I bring you a guest, and on our Nail Academy Instagram account you can watch it live, or later recorded video, with interesting talks. My first guest was Elena Galayzuk from Italy (Venice) talking about new regulations and giving us feedback only after few days of re-opening. Click here and you will find the recorded IGTV video.
Few days later, my next guest was International Nail trainer Natalia Gritsenko from Ukraine and you can find the interview link here. Natalia had some interesting reflections on the new “normal” and we also got to chat about couple of other differences between Ukrainian and western Europe in nail services.
On the 28th of May, I had the pleasure to interview Magnetic Nail trainer Ingeborg Mensonides from The Netherlands, to find out and also see, not only new table screen and it’s functionality but also well organized and beautiful home based nail salon. If you haven’t seen the video yet, the link is here.
Soon I will bring you guests from Sweden and Iceland, also interesting guests from Ireland.
Stay tuned.
Love,
Joanna
